We can provide an estimate of time and cost if you provide these details for the document:

  • Word count
  • Document topic
  • Work needed: copyediting, light copyediting, or proofreading
  • Turnaround required

Editing Speeds

Most work falls into these ranges:

  • Copyediting: 1,000-1,500 words per hour
  • Light copyediting: 1,250-1,750 words per hour
  • Proofreading: 2,250-2,750 words per hour
